On February 24, 2026, the Home Safety Workshop invited the Oakland High School Lion Dance Club to St Mary’s Gardens to bring a festive Chinese New Year lion dance performance to the seniors.

2026年2月24日, Home Safety Workshop邀请并带领奥克兰高中舞狮俱乐部，前往 St. Mary’s Gardens 养老院，为老人们带来一场充满年味的中国新年舞狮表演。

The event was filled with the sounds of drums and gongs, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Team members worked together seamlessly: some played the drums with a powerful rhythm; others guided the route; and the students, dressed in lion costumes, moved with agility and grace, their movements vivid and engaging. The wonderful performance brought smiles and applause from the seniors, who thoroughly enjoyed the show. Many elders even presented red envelopes to express their blessings and affection.

活动现场锣鼓声声，热闹非凡。团队成员分工合作：有人击鼓伴奏，节奏铿锵；有人在前方引导路线；同学们身着狮衣，灵活舞动醒狮，动作生动有趣。精彩的表演让在场的老人们笑容不断、掌声连连，大家看得十分开心，不少长辈还送上红包，表达祝福与喜爱。

This event not only promoted traditional Chinese culture but also brought warmth and joy to the seniors, making it very meaningful. We will continue to organize more heartwarming community activities in the future.
